Clara's Rise of the Living Dead trilogy continues, with the distinctive cinematography and use of sound effects and music characteristic of the series -- now with voice acting, too. Like Clara's other movies, this episode in the "Rise of the Living Dead" series was made in the "World of Warcraft" MMO.-- HEL

Part two of a great trilogy
The second part of RISE OF THE LIVING DEAD is also the last one to be directed by Clara and, arguably, the finest of the three installments. While it lacks the ambition and complexity of the final part this section is unfailingly engaging and revels in strong and confident use of dynamic image allied to music - much of which, chosen from existing cinematic soundtracks is close to inspired. The sequence editing is very successful. RofTLD2 is notable for allowing its characters to breathe and attain some dramatic gravity of their own which pays real dividends as the final conflict is anticipated. Principally concerned with a small numbers of heroes who set out to put the world to rights, RofTLD2 is confident in its own fantasy throughout, and only the (unavoidable) Mecha-traits of the characters, especially when standing and speaking prove a slight distraction. Unmissable on this site.
